Drift
A privacy-first desktop browser for Windows with a built-in team of AI agents you name yourself. It blocks trackers, cleans your links, and keeps secrets out of what it sends to a model.
Drift is in active development. Expect rough edges and frequent updates while it heads toward a first stable release.
What is Drift?
Most browsers with AI bolted on send whatever is on the page to a model and hope for the best. Drift starts from privacy: trackers are blocked, links are cleaned, and secrets are redacted before anything reaches a model. On top of that sits a small team of AI agents that you name yourself, each running on the OpenRouter model you pick.
A team of agents you name
Create agents, give them names, and pick the OpenRouter model each one runs on. Every agent can search the web, use the browser, and message the other agents to split up a job.
Trackers blocked by default
Known trackers are blocked before they load, and tracking parameters are stripped from links before you follow or share them.
Secrets stay out of prompts
Before page text goes to a model, Drift redacts things that look like secrets, such as keys, tokens, and passwords.
Local encrypted password vault
Passwords are saved in an encrypted vault on your own machine, with reminder hints you write yourself in case you forget one.
AI overviews on search pages
Search as usual and get a short AI overview of the results alongside them, from the model you chose.
