Question 1

What games can I play for free in my browser?

Accepted Answer

OB Studio offers several free browser games including Oliver's Racers (an arcade multiplayer racer with procedural tracks), Oliver's Planes (a flight simulator), Coinstand (an idle coin-flip game), Cosmic Gravity Sandbox (an N-body physics simulator), and Apex Grand Auctions (a car tycoon game). All run directly in your browser. No downloads or accounts needed.

Question 2

Is OB Studio the same as OBS Studio?

Accepted Answer

No. OB Studio (obstudio.org) is an independent game development studio by Oliver that makes free browser games and interactive web apps. OBS Studio is a separate, unrelated open-source video recording and live streaming application. They are completely different projects with no connection.

Question 3

Can I play these games on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every game runs in a mobile browser, and the ones built around driving, flying or tapping ship real touch controls. Oliver's Racers has an on-screen stick and buttons, and Coinstand is played by tapping the coin. A few desktop extras stay mouse-only, such as panning and zooming the camera in Cosmic Gravity Sandbox. Oliver's Racers also has a native Android APK, which runs smoother than the browser build.

Question 4

How does the multiplayer work in Oliver's Racers?

Accepted Answer

Oliver's Racers multiplayer runs on a Raspberry Pi game server via WebSocket connections, with an AWS API Gateway fallback. You can race against other players in real time with real collisions across 15 different worlds. When no other players are online, four AI pace cars fill the grid.

Question 5

Do I need to download anything to play?

Accepted Answer

No. Every game and app on OB Studio runs entirely in your web browser. No downloads, no installations, no accounts, no launchers. Just click and play.
